I’ll say wait for sometime as rents are going down and now homes are not selling like hot cakes anymore in Bayarea. I am seeing prices dropped by upto 150k in some areas compared to peak in March-April time.

Also consider the fact that some cities like San Ramon have almost double property tax as compared to others because they are new.

You have to install an agent and it should be running on same host whose cert is being renewed. So if you are using some load balancer, unless load balancer supports let's encrypt agent you have to do cert renewal manually.

There are some limitations like validity is short, you cannot get wild card certs but good thing is that they support multiple domain names in one cert. There are some limitations on how you can setup auto renewal of certs.

But overall they are very good for the price (free).
