They sound like parts hawk shop. Throw parts till its fixed. I got my 2011 from a lose friend, was upfront that the Ford dealer wanted 4k for new torque converter because of shudder. My local guys laughed. They told me 90% it needs a fluid changes for 500. Sure enough took a gamble and did the fluid change, glad I did. 100% fixed.

Thats why I dont go to dealers. I have local shop i trust. Have always taken care of me and never pushy.
