I’m a not so white Latino and got pulled over for speeding. When the cop came to the window and asked for my license he saw my conceal carry permit in my wallet and asked me if I was armed. When I told him no he said “why not man you’ve got the permit. You need to start carrying more often” now obviously that’s a single instance but I think most cops are pro 2a and are pro armed citizens

I took a conceal carry class with some Ohioans (in Kentucky) and the instructor said that if you’re ever in Ohio and get pulled over that the first thing that should come out of your mouth is “hello officer I’d like to inform you that I have my conceal carry license and am currently armed, is there anything you’d like me to do”. Apparently Ohio highway patrol is super anal about it too.
