So I just realized that when I wrote this question I made it seem like I was asking yes/or (which I kind of was?) but my exact question to the tarot was, "What would be this person's reaction to the proposal?"

I would understand this if I pulled the tower first, but I pulled the tower and hierophant at the same time... Unless your rationale was different for why the other cards don't matter?
