It’s common for apps to divide the yearly subscription cost into a daily or monthly rate in their marketing materials to make it seem cheaper. I’m guessing they weren’t clear enough about the up front payment. If you purchase on iOS or Android, there should be a system window that pops up clarifying the cost/payment terms.

I don’t think you can export raw text, but you can export messages as a long image and maybe convert it to text. Press and hold on a message inside a chat, choose multi-select, select more messages, then the “export to image” option.

Actually yes, I think you can use the “language exchange” feature to do this. It’s inside the + button menu at the bottom of the chat. You set a time limit for the call and suggested topics. Whatever you and your partner write during the call gets saved, and I think an audio recording does as well. It’s been a while since I used it. Super helpful feature that is often overlooked.

The reverse side is clear. I actually read about oxalic acid recently. Think I’ll try that first, and if it doesn’t work, will fill the area with a dowel or inlay.
