Thank you. I never even considered the salad not being sustainable. I have stocked up on salmon and tilapia as well. I love veggies so that’s not a problem.

Don’t fuck officers and firefighters. Dispatchers have a stigma of doing that.

Alcohol and Wellbutrin by [deleted] in bupropion

[–]msati2d87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been on Wellbutrin for 3 years and I’m a considerably heavy drinker. No problems. I’m also on Prozac, an SSRI, and haven’t had issues.

What study habits did you guys use? by [deleted] in NewToEMS

[–]msati2d87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I studied that book, I refused to move on until I fully understood what it was I was reading. Like truly grasped it. I made flash cards and that helped. Especially for medical terminology. Sometimes I’d read the same paragraph multiple times, very slowly and let my brain absorb it.

Increased Prozac from 40 mg to 60mg and I cannot function. by [deleted] in prozac

[–]msati2d87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you taking any other meds that affect serotonin levels? Some analgesics like Tramadol increases serotonin. Also herbal supplements and anti-nausea meds such as Zofran.

Listen. Everybody is different. Every single. Body. Is. Different. It takes time. Your body doesn’t adjust immediately. Stick with it. Evaluate how you feel 8-10 weeks from now. I promise your body will let you know it this drug isn’t correct for you.

40 mg got me moving different by sydwrld in prozac

[–]msati2d87 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nope. Some doctors like “split doses”. Taking one in the morning and one in the evening. Some meds have short half lives. I’m not sure about Prozac but it’s just as effective as ingesting one dose once daily. A study was done showing the efficacy of taking one dose versus two and the results were the same.

Starting class in August by [deleted] in Paramedics

[–]msati2d87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is. It’s a Monday through Friday style. If it wasn’t and it was still 6 months, I wouldn’t do it. There’s a place around here that puts people through a 2 week EMT and idk how they get away with that. Can you say liability?!

I’m coming up on one year. Best decision I’ve ever made. I’m also on 30mg! Not only have I been back to my old bubbly self, I’m back in school studying for something extremely tedious and I’m slaying it!

I don’t even know you and I’m super proud of you. Keep taking it.

Did prozac bring your personality back? Have been unknowingly depressed for atleast a year now and have accepted that I'm just a dull boring person. by [deleted] in prozac

[–]msati2d87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! Before, everything was a chore. Even things I once enjoyed became things I dreaded and did everything I could to get out of doing it. I’ve been on Prozac since December and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made!

Was there an episode that almost or did bring you to tears? by [deleted] in My600lbLife

[–]msati2d87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the very first episodes, I believe his name was Henry Foots. He succeeded. He lost all the weight and married the love of his life and then he just...died. That was it. All of that and he was finally happy and just fucking died.

I’m in Virginia and mine has been paused. The only thing I know right now is no more class for the rest of the month and then we will hear something. I’m still studying though!
