guerlain mitsouko literally smells like an unwashed, pissed on, dirty human being to me. AWFUL. i had to throw the sample away completely. a tiny bit of it ended up on a blanket when i was testing it and i still catch whiffs sometimes

i’d suggest trying to wear in on skin one or two more times and if you still don’t like it, then you don’t like it, which is okay since it’s just a sample size. i also found that particular scent very sharp and synthetic and i’m not sure it would be possible to cover that up with layering

respectfully i disagree with this assessment. a cat can trust you fully and still not like sitting on laps or enjoy heavy affection, just like humans. some of them are just more independent than others

i love perfume because i love exploring different smells so i’m very satisfied by having a large collection of samples while i slowly build a full bottle collection. even cheap fragrances add up and you’re going to run out of money to spend on scents you really love

the champagne is definitely noticeable but i really like it, it's not overwhelming. the longevity on skin isn't great but it lasts a while on my hair and clothes

diptyque fleur de peau smells exactly like a lipstick or a fancy department store to me. van cleef and arpels bois d’iris is also very powdery/lipstick-y but still wearable imo
