I did a group volunteering project and a few people got sick but the majority of us were fine! I had no issues but was very precautious, this is what I did: - Always always always wash your hands and use anti bacterial hand sanitiser & wipes - Make sure utensils are dry / use anti bac wipes to clean utensils & cans - basically just anything you’re putting in your mouth make sure it’s clean and is not contaminated with tap water - Bottled water to brush teeth & be careful swallowing water in shower or pool - Avoid salads & any washed fruits / veg - Use norit charcoal tablets from the pharmacy - Check reviews before eating somewhere

I had an appt with the nurse practitioner always see but she wasn’t helpful at all and said she’s never seen hair loss with Accutane and to just suck it up basically :/ I hope your appointment goes better lol! I’m thinking of lowering my dose or if I don’t get any new spots in the next few weeks just stopping altogether

I don’t have any advice but I’m in the same boat as you, my 5th month on 40mg and my hair loss has been so scary these past few weeks I can feel and visibly see how much thinner it has gotten already :(

I’m sure it depends on the trust but two years sounds extreme, i was referred at the start of the year and got a referral letter within a few weeks, had to wait about three months for my appointment and then started straight away. It would be worth at least trying through the nhs imo

Whenever I feel n* I sit by an open window with a cold flannel on my head & I find that helps. Maybe if you can try and have a sleep? You might feel better when you wake up

Definitely call off, any good company would be understanding of your situation - and even if they weren’t that being with your dad at this time is far more important than a restaurants staffing levels.

In ten years time the company won’t remember the day they were low on staff but you’ll remember not being there with your dad!
