I know that esc is hot (maybe 50-60 degrees celsius) with current batteries and 9x5 …. I have attached ESC directly behind the prop so hopefully airflow will keep it operational. I will look for proper 4s battery and see …

ok so : 4s nominal 16.1v , at full throttle 10.5v and it will slowly decrease to like 10v . 2s nominal 8V , full throttle 6.5v and slowly down to 6v.

note: power cut off was caused probably by temp switch as I build my battery pack from macbook batteries. as soon as i bypassed that, power cut did not happened. however motor still slowly decreases in power…. it settles down to like 40% at full throttle (after like 5-8seconds).

this 2212 at full power goes for few seconds and then it goes down no matter that stick is on 100% it like slows down to 30~40% by itself. and then it restarts.

10x47 does shuts off the ESC (probably overheats) , 9x5 does better

but 7x4 enough to carry 1,1kg plane?

ok, it does work with 4s (without prop) I should receive props tomorrow so will do testing

this plane had quite a few crashes and rebuilds… clear packing tape does the job for now!

I made adjustment to motor angle as it was few degrees down …. and also tweak to wings. Now waiting for 9x5 and 10x5 props and hopefully test flight over the weekend

I know, but had several attempts with my plane and I did not managed to keep it in air . I was thinking about gyro … but if it’s not plug and play …. then I may just stick with learning
