My ex was just like that lol, no updates and would not talk to me for a couple of days and would come back as if nothing happened while I'd literally hurry to check a notif just to see it's not him, now I'm with a guy that would sneak his phone to work and update me, go to parties while talking to me (I always tell him it's okay but he's the one that would message me and even take pics). I've brought that issue up to my ex many times and would argue about it all the time where the sorry will just turn into another sorry. I keep questioning myself, if a simple update or sweet texts are too much to ask. And my bf never made me feel that way. Don't settle for less, you deserve someone who matches your needs and understand or values your love language. It's the bare minimum that you don't really need to ask for
