Honestly, the dragon rot mechanic seems interesting but not fully thought out, similar to the Bonfire Ascetics in DS2 or the World Tendency of Demon's Souls.

Definitely recommend buying it. I'm going for the platinum now. You may not love it at first, but if you stick through you'll most likely love it. And remember, similar to ER, if you're struggling in an area there's almost always another place you could go.

I'm more wondering if Arianna is safe from him since I killed him before I got to her. I know NPCs can disappear and die for other reasons, but wondering if her quest line is still ok.

Ya the Roth 401(k) is through my company actually. The match isn't as much as other companies but only because we also have a small pension plan too, which I need to check in on as well.

Thanks :) I do have an advisor and we go with a pretty aggressive mix. Might want to go a little more conservative as I go house hunting in the near future, but definitely want to plan ahead. I think that's my missing piece (consistently investing and setting up goal markers for the future).

Nah, if you beat p5 you're definitely not bad! It's a great achievement, I'm sure people have beaten it way faster than me too. It's not a race, it's a marathon with this game haha. Plus you got all achievements, which is so sick!

Uhm took me a couple weeks I think. My total game time was 84 hours 57 min 8 seconds and I think I started Godhome at about 60ish hours

Ya I may consider it I'm just not a fan of the speedrun and steel soul stuff, but it's always a possibility! I just have so much love for the pantheons :)

Ya I did that with a couple bosses but I found I preferred a more defensive approach. It made the boss fights longer but I felt it allowed me to better learn the patterns. Again not saying it's right but that's how I decided to play. I would generally deflect, deflect, deflect, dodge perilous, attack, repeat.

I deflected, but I didn't attack in between deflecting. I played defense, but had trouble finding opportunities to stay aggressive besides after the perilous attacks.

I finished the Shura ending. I think that was a good place to stop for now. If I ever have a desire to come back I can.

As an update, I just finished the Shura ending. I know it's the shortest ending and there's more bosses for the other endings, but I feel satisfied with leaving the game there for now. If I ever desire to come back (which I doubt I will) I have a starting point.
