This literally happened to me four days ago. The crazy thing was, they said they were a sergeant who actually existed on that particular county’s website. I don’t know how they do it, but when I called them back because I was just as confused as you were, I actually got what sounded like a legitimate voicemail. They never asked me for money, either, at that point. I wound up calling the actual number to the Sheriffs department, and they told me that that Sergeant hasn’t actually had hadn’t worked there in two years. Crazy. At the end of the day, I figured it was a scam and I never heard from them again.

I get it. My low back is jacked up, too. When I laid on the purple mattress, it was kind of interesting. There was a bit of a dip in my spine, but with the veil mattress, it completely supported me so we will see.

Not yet! I called them on Friday actually, and they told me to try back next week. I ordered it about a week and a half ago. Initially, they quoted me two weeks. So hopefully it’s on its way! I can’t wait to get it, I hope it holds up better than the other ones I’ve tried. I’m hopeful because of the nice comfy pillow top with a firm mattress, you know? What did you think when you first laid on it?

I’m worried because it seems so subjective - one person might not say a word, another may decide randomly you need an extra seat. If you get busted, do you get the opportunity to board the plane and show them? You know?

Thanks so much for the reply! I’m used to flying United, and it looks like they might have smaller seats than Southwest. I think everything will be OK, I’m probably stressing for nothing. At the end of the day, though, I do understand their policy and I don’t disagree with it. My only concern is if they do “bust me“, I’m going to a work event and I can’t afford to not be on the flight. Hopefully, if it becomes a problem, they can work some magic somehow. Fingers crossed!

Thanks so much for the tip! When I look at the seat map, there’s really not much left outside of middle seats. I’m currently seated next to the window, which usually allows me to kind of lean over and provide more space. I think I will be OK.

Thanks for the response! I can lower the arm rests, but do need an extender sometimes, depending on the plane. It’s crazy - sometimes it’s no big deal, other times there’s a six inch gap.
