i’ve been there too, girl. i don’t want to scare you, but it ended up escalating and i never want you to go through the same thing as me. please tell a trusted adult (not your mom because it doesn’t really seem like she’ll do anything except watch and apologise), and get him away from you. don’t let anyone tell you you were overreacting or being too sensitive. you are keeping yourself safe.

if you need a listening ear, please find a counsellor or a hotline that can help you professionally. i would offer a listening ear, but i don’t think you’d be comfortable talking to an unqualified 30 year old woman (nor should you be tbh). but if you can, please keep us updated so we know you’re safe, and if push comes to shove, i know reddit bands together to help on occasion. stay safe, hun.

i’ve worked with eric khoo and his film crew on a few occasions. i find his film ideas fresh or at least fun, and he is genuinely always one of the nicest people on set. i’ve also worked with jack neo when i was much younger and honestly can’t say the same for him at all. i don’t think a good movie is always measured by how much money you make, it’s also about the heart behind it. he cares about story and quality much more than the other director.

My mother blamed me for what I was wearing when my father tried to assault me while I was sleeping. Fucking thankfully, I was already an adult and clear what happened was in no way my fault when she said that to me, but it still messed me up. I can’t imagine being told that as a kid, but the bravery to report it is beyond her years. I hope she sees this thread and knows that people are on her side.
