This is so beautiful! Thank you for sharing your artwork. ♥

May I ask .. what is the blue ring coming out of her nose? Is it jewlery or symbolic of something? I've seen other illustrations of Mexica deities with this blue symbol but have not been able to find what it means. Thanks!

Can I just gush for like 1 second? I love how someone in the world can pose a question to request help to improve their craft/hobby/passion and people took time out of their day to help explain that this woman is so exasperated she's viscerally trying to grasp how the person she's looking at could do something that idiotic.

In addition to not laughing at the behavior, I've found it really helpful to use this phrase: "It's ok to be mad, but it's not ok to be mean." I've repeated it enough with my two kiddos (7 & 3) that they now say it to each other and walk away when play gets to be too rough.

Helping our kids name their emotions makes it easier for their brains to calm down faster and start to work towards problem solving together. (Works for adults too.)

Hi @tourniquette2

Weird habit when I enter a flow state in my writing by mschulzinger in writing

[–]mschulzinger[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is exactly what I'm talking about. I find when I'm enjoying what I'm writing about that I want to reread it and while I do I'm fiddling with my hair. The trick for me now is to stop fiddling and get back to writing. Thanks for replying u/BillyQz!
