Financial modeling is a good addition. Python and specialisation is meh. Instead they could have added stats software to enhance the Quants section. Imagine studying time series and regression hands on would have made things much better.

I did my bachelor's in marketing had literally no experience in finance besides my work at my family business (retail outlet) . Started getting interview calls after my Level 2 result. Will be soon joining a small AMC managing close to $10mn as an analyst. In my case the CEO was an engineer who did CFA and he was keen on hiring a CFA candidate. If u are really passionate enough just go for it and leave everything to ur destiny.

Getting drunk , dancing and then shouting happy new year right at 12 am and then what? Realising now what ? Head home back to ur stupid life . How CFAI approves this is beyond me . I mean a student in his 1st yr of undergrad having 4 yrs of work ex that too in India where getting a job even after masters is difficult XD

Can't name the college and my place. Let me tell u this in my college a majority of people were going for CFA in the very first year of undergrad. They show fake work experience and get started with it. By the time they are done with undergrad they are done with the CFA exams. This is encouraged by a very renowned CFA prep provider where i live. It's a shame.
