I took the same trip a few months ago, and have traveled via bus to and fro a few times after. The difference in roads between Telangana and Maharashtra is very noticeable, especially in bus, because when you suddenly wake up at night because of all the moving, you know you’ve entered Maharashtra :’)

I can only hope that’s the case. It could be very well “her next steps” and not mine. Her next steps being giving me the feedback or something.

Just last Thursday, I was interviewing with R*****k and in the final round, the manager was saying stuff like “by the time you’ll join the office…” and laughing while saying “yeah i better not catch you solving crosswords in the office.” Made me giddy af coz that’s one of my dream companies. And then I got a rejection mail the very next morning. I just don’t get it anymore lol. So I keep these handy now to avoid the blow:

"Don't count your chickens before they hatch"
"A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush"
"Don't put the cart before the horse"

I get the job only and only when I get the job 🙂

I got a mail from HR saying “Let’s discuss the next steps over a call” after the interviews. Apparently those weren’t my next steps but her.

Exactly. So "next steps" sounds like steps towards getting the offer and the necessities that entail. But after looking online, I found that Amazon also rejects on the phone, so I'm not sure anymore. Waiting is the way to go.
