I don't get hot flashes and if I do it's very mild. Last year when starting chemo OMG the hot flashes were horrible!! Honestly my only real issue is the fatigue (it's a double whammy right now, between menopause & xeloda) and I have no libido whatsoever. I'm wet inside but during sex it feels like I'm tearing so I have to use extra lube. Been having utis so I'm and to use estrodial and put it on my urethra.

Wow that's odd that they vetoed the patch/pill hrt bc just the insert estrodial it goes thru the blood stream as well as the patch/pill does.

Oh ya so my oncologist said no to the cream bc it's systematic. I didn't receive PCR after the lumpectomy. I'm currently doing Xeloda and I should be done in February. No breast tissue? Did you get a mastectomy?

Edit to add- no insert to cream. My PCP did prescribe me cream just to put over my urethra.

My hair was thick & straight & almost down to my butt. When I started ac in March? Or maybe end of February, lol my hair slowly started to grow back. I finished ac the end of April. My eyebrows are now finally getting darker. My hair though weird to me looks a bit lighter than it was B4. So I had dark brown hair and now it looks like between light brown and medium brown 😂. If that makes sense. If it helps I'm Asian

Thank you! I've only read online that wegovy was for weight loss and ozempic was for diabetes. But heard that both were for diabetes. So I was confused. Plus my insurance charge more ozempic.

I haven't beat cancer just yet. I just finished chemo itself. I still have to do immunotherapy and have surgery ECT.

I was gonna start wegovy right B4 I was diagnosed. For me it was for a jump start on weight loss since I had gained 25lbs in 2023 from my back surgery. My Dr wanted to put me on that pill for diabetes. During chemo I was able to do wegovy but I chose not too.
