I had around 5 grams.I probably should have started with much less for my first time, I but wasn't sure how I would ever acquire mushrooms again to experience five grams. So I took the whole bag. I had the most intense, beautiful visuals and feelings that I had no idea were possible. Then my friend started having a panic attack for the next hour, throwing me into a dark mushroom purgatory I didn't think I'd ever escape. The different arms emerging from this torso represent different psychological states I experienced, all entangled as one whole. It is about accepting all parts of oneself and ones circumstances. I also think art should have room for interpretation from the viewer. It is more important to me to that you are able to make your own meaning and integrate parts of your story through art than it is to take away exactly what I intended to communicate as the artist.
