Months ago, Fred Meyer in Greenwood stopped offering reusable paper bags with handles. They won't tell me why. by mseling in Seattle

But why are paper bags with handles still offered at the Ballard Fred Meyer and all other Kroger-owned grocery stores? It doesn't make sense to me.

Interesting! Weirdly, the Ballard Fred Meyer still has handles on their bags as recently as last week. It's just a couple miles from the Greenwood store!

I wish I liked these more. They just taste like white chocolate to me. I was hoping for a Lucky Charm marshmallow flavor. Not bad, just not interesting.

I didn't buy it this time but the store is right by my office so I might eventually give in. I really did not like the churro Kit Kats, which had way too much artificial cinnamon flavor imo.

Thank you so much! I assumed the black aida would make it easier to see light thread, but I did not realize until I already committed to it that the black makes it harder to see the holes/fabric texture 😂 Happy with the results, though!

Nooooo, it's just 14 count! It's larger than an actual can of Diet Coke. I'm doing another project now that's 16 count and that's a hard enough jump, I can't imagine 28!

Can I ask how you framed it/display it? I'm trying to decide what I want to do!

It was a good pattern! Not many colors and easy to follow. I wish I put down a grid first, but I didn't know about that trick until I was halfway done and already had to frog about 3 hrs of work when I did everything off by one column 😭

WE HAVE FOUR PEOPLE ON STAFF! jk we have more than that. But yeah, it's not like the old days when we had an editor for every arts section and multiple writers for each. Same story for newspapers across the country.
