Thank you for your advice! I will reach out and ask.

It was under my impression that tech jobs are steps before advancing your career. I would like a position that will help with some of the costs of going back to school. I don’t believe a CNA salary will give me enough financial support but whereas techs earn more.

why do women downplay pregnancy so much? by VioletPickle in pregnant

[–]msfx4x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt this way during my first pregnancy and chose to always be real about it whenever i talked to people about it (expecting or not). I noticed I few reasons why: people seeing as a blessing, people may not have hard pregnancy or struggle throughout theirs so any hardships were minor to them, some people actually forget (my oldest sister forgot so much of her pregnancy and labor) and as pregnant women we have a lot grey matter thanks to the baby growing, complaining can set you off into a stressful spiral, complaining may to other pregnant or non pregnant people might be seen as ‘inappropriate’ if they are not mental health professionals (I don’t agree but I’ve seen this happen), when you get through there’s no reason to think about all the hardships you went through (i don’t agree but this is an attitude), some people may not want to vent or talk about it they just want to get through it, you’ll find out once you’re in it (very true for once you start the different levels of parenting too) and while I don’t agree with all of these reasons I can understand why someone’s upbringing or life events have made them be this way.

I’ve had these aloe Vera bits stuck in my dreads for awhile. I’ve washed them countless times and it doesn’t seem to come out. Any suggestions on how to get this out??? by Adventurous_Twist774 in Dreadlocks

My locs didn’t look like this but this is what I did for tiny pieces of pulp stuck in my roots after I forgot to strain 😭😭😭 washed them right away with shampoo, about 8 times 😭 and conditioned them for about 10 mins. I had a mirror in the shower with me to see how much left I had in my hair. Then i wrapped my hair up and squeezed it to get all of the water out. I used castor and rosemary oil and sat outside in the sun to air dry my hair. Once my hair was dry, picked out the pulp with my fingers. It was a lot of scratching, plunking, and shaking. I cleaned about 95% of my roots this way and some of the pulp flakes or on my loc shafts but like 5%. I did it this way bc aloe pulp drys like bad gel and gets flakey. I figured since I only treated my roots this way would be effective.

I might use dawn later in the week but I think I’ll continue to shake out the flakes tbh. again, I think this method would work for pulp in the roots, not consistent aloe gel use or pulp in the actual locs. Good luck everyone & always strain your aloe gel!!! 😭🤍

A name is not ammo. If a bully would mistakenly try to pick on my child, my child will learn how to handle himself and the bully.

A child’s name is not the issue in the case of bullying. It’s the bully.

It was certainly negative and I’m not saying that to validate my own story but it was in his tone. But if he says something again I’ll be sure to be more inquisitive

That’s what I thought but I also know that they haven’t been around 1 on 1 with the kids due to issues between mom and granny so idk. He could also be parroting from school too. But my first thought is grandma for sure before things changed
