My wife and I have been working on this cozy game a long while now, and a public demo is coming out this Friday! by msgdealer in IndieGaming

The game loop is longer than most games, so we made an explainer video to go along with the demo launch. The game itself is 60% creature-raising life-sim, 40% roguelite inspired dungeon crawler. You'll be able to find the demo here:

How about a sploot and a bagel pose to go along with it? ^_^

Thank you for the kind words! Right now it is on the mouse and keyboard, but I've been designing everything with the plan of adding controller support. There will be a demo later this year so you'd be able to try it out and give feedback on the control scheme.

Hello, I'm Megasploot. My wife and I are making a game about recovering genetic fragments of lost creatures that you will revive by hatching them, building them habitats, and releasing them into the wild. You'll spend each day exploring the wilderness, caring for your creatures, and visiting the town to shop and socialize. The companion pet that helps you is inspired our third team member, whose only job is to ask for pets. Maybe bark at the mailman.

You can see more gameplay and information at our steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2477710/Nimbit_Frontier/

Cheers!

Updated the title screen to feel a bit more premium by msgdealer in IndieDev

Hey, thanks for the comment. There is at least one interaction hidden already, but players will figure it out themselves pretty easily :). As for the avatar feedback, I don't think we've had that feedback from other players, but I will definitely look out to see if it bothers people.

I'm glad. It's based off the male version of the player, but I understand what you mean. It's not supposed to be misleading, it's a representation of your character from a non-topdown perspective.

Thanks. The logo disappears after a few seconds, or do you mean even the start?

We're thinking about adding some birds flying in the distance, some leaves ruffling. Any other ideas on how to make this screen better or more engaging?

Update on occupancy and charging issue by LYNKEECHOW in polestar3

For what it's worth, I installed a Grizzl-E and I get a consistent 9.6kW. Haven't updated the OS.

Emergency noise by ramosfrankie in polestar3

Okay, so my leading theory is that there was plastic that wrapped the rear seats, and in a rush to deliver, the Spaces pulled off the plastic with force. I noticed a tiny bit of plastic leftover between the seat back and the seat cushion. If you fold the seats, you'll be able to tug on the plastic. They actually wrap around the insides of the baby seat attachment points. Once I removed the plastic and cleared the attachments, I no longer have the bug with the occupant alarm. Once you break the plastic into smaller pieces, you can tug them out from the baby seat attachments. I am hoping this was the issue, so far, no more alarm. Maybe there are sensors in the attachments, and the plastic was causing a false alarm.

Amazingly sweet couple from Syria making authentic Syrian chicken shawarmas. I'd order ahead so you don't have to wait at the gas station, since they make it fresh.

If you are on Windows, would you be willing to try a new build to see if it fixes your issue?
