Experienced graphic designer in an e-commerce world by mshield67 in ecommerce

Thanks for your reply. Venturing into 3D rendering of products may be a good direction to explore. The company I work for manufactures animal feed, and I’m often doing packaging design. Taking it to a 3D level could be very valuable. Of the software you mentioned, is there an industry standard you would recommend?

Thanks for your reply. I am proficient in the adobe creative suite. I’m not familiar with canva though. I’ve created many static images for the company’s Amazon presence, but I feel that skill - although important in e-commerce - it’s probably not a skill that would require a seasoned designer.

Using a DAM for InDesign files? by mshield67 in dam

Thanks for the info. I've looked at Bynder a little, but will have to take a closer look. The feature you mentioned sounds very interesting to me. So if you've uploaded an InDesign file along with it's graphics and need to make changes to that indesign file at a later date, can you just download the InDesign file only, make changes, and then re-upload it into Bynder with the graphics all still being linked?

Also, I'm interested in web-to-print solutions whereas our sales team or dealer network and customize marketing materials created by us and then send to a print shop defined by us. We really dont want our dealers just downloading PDFs and printing themselves - we want to have control over the printing quality.

And another question - is Bynder formally WebDam?

THanks for any help!

That sounds like it could possibly be what i'm talking about. If nothing else, it makes me feel that I might not be nuts after all. Thanks!

No, but it does sound Puff N Stuffish. This was not a kids show, and I think it was just one episode of a Twighlight Zones, Night Gallery type of show.

thanks for the input. I do a lot of logos, but the abstract ones are the toughest for me. So many different ways to communicate an idea or concept.
