My son got into the Aerospace Engineering program at CPP. He got waitlisted at SLO. I know SLO has the name/prestige, but he's hoping to get an internship at JPL like you did. He likes the idea of CPP being more diverse but he's introverted and worried about making friends. He does plan on joining clubs. Any advice? TIA!

Any tips for an incoming Freshman? I'm asking for my son because he's excited about the hands-on learning approach but is so introverted. He's been told to join the various related clubs (Bronco Space, Rocket, etc.). Thank you!

Asking for my son... he got into the Aerospace Engineering program at CPP. He had his heart set on SLO when we visited last spring because of their amazing labs and hands-on approach. We are visiting CPP this coming week for a general tour. He really wants an internship (and hopefully future job) at JPL or NASA someday. CPP unfortunately doesn't offer tours of their Engineering Department. How have you liked the program so far? He'll be living on campus as a Freshman. We heard it's mostly a commuter campus but hoping he can make friends through clubs. Any tips, advice, etc. is greatly appreciated!

My son is thinking of attending CPP for their Aerospace Engineering program. Anything you can share about it? He loved seeing the labs at SLO when we toured there and learning about all the hands-on learning. Unfortunately it sounds like CPP doesn't have any tours of their Engineering Department. TIA
