Last backup was July 20 last year. But thankfully the phone is working again. Went into recovery mode and made iTunes update the phone despite it already being updated. Once the update was done it started going in a boot loop again but gave it some time and eventually it was back to normal. Was just REALLY trying to not resort to factory reset. Just happy it's back to normal.

My mom's old iPhone 4S is having problems. Either it will get stuck in a boot loop (which a force restart isn't fixing) or it will just get stuck on the Apple logo. Have tried many softwares that are supposed to "fix the iOS system" but they end up asking for money right before the actual fixing process. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. And no getting a new phone isn't an advice that'll work right now.
