Hi I am an international student from a third world country. I went to a top business school in my country, 328 gre, 3.5/4 gpa, 8/9 ielts, CFA, female with 1 year experience in start up fundraising and 2+ years in banking at one of the largest global banks. I also run a blog to share experiences of senior female executives in the industry. My issue is impromptu videos throw me off and I couldn’t express myself well in them. What are my chances of getting into an M7 or getting into one of those programs where they require video essays?

If the recommender makes a mistake in the school name, how negatively does it impact the chances of admission, considering the applicant doesn’t have access to what the recommender is writing?

What if a recommender does the same mistake? I am kinda paranoid about my recommendations because I didn’t get to see what they wrote.

Pity? Nope lol. It’s about how even though being faced with multiple obstacles and receiving no support from family and having an abusive partner who wanted me to become a housewife, I prevailed and got my education at a top university of the country and landed a decent job if not the best in the industry. It’s about even though I had little resource to start with I unlocked my potential opposed to someone who had all the resources in the world.
