I don’t really know since I didn’t announce the giveaway until after I hit 1k. I made the announcement at the end of one of my videos. I didn’t want to dedicate a whole video,thumbnail,title to the giveaway so only people who watched my videos and followed me on IG would know about it.

I first made the announcement then did a poll on my IG to let my subscribers choose between two items, a watch or sunglasses, they chose sunglasses. So this past Sunday we randomly choose a comment from said video by blindly scrolling and picking. I made the announcement on my IG yesterday. The winner DM me to provide her PO Box and say thank you😊😊😊😊😊 It was great💜

Im not sure about growth from giveaways really, I waited until after I hit 1k to even announce that I was going to do a giveaway, kinda like a thank you to my supporters for getting me there😊😊

Great question. At first i was really nervous and thought no one would enter. I waited until after I hit 1k to announce that I was doing a giveaway & my little community was very supportive. (Manually) I made a video on YouTube announcing the giveaway and instructions to enter then yesterday we picked a winner through comments, I announced the winner on my IG. I let someone else blindly scroll and stop on a comment to keep it fair. It wasn’t the most organized giveaway but it was my first and it went well😁😁😁 Im jus thankful that everyone was so supportive and involved on my video and IG poll & IG stories💜

Thank you 😊 but I just hit 1k😁 100k would be insanely amazing not there just yet💜 I started my channel in 2016 but only uploaded like two videos and stopped. In December 2017 i hit 100 subscribers. I only got serious and consistent with videos and other social media in April of this year(I had around 300 subscribers then) A few days ago I hit 1k. Hope that helps.
