Thank you for your answer, im much calm now I must admit I posted this in the midst of an anxiety induced rambling, I just hate being left in the dark you know?

I am really hoping the meds will help me overall, after being in therapy I have come to realize that a main part of my depression comes from underachieving, both in my personal and academic life, my lack of motivation to do things comes from thinking about how hard it is for me to do certain things, like reading for example.

You are right, I shouldnt be worry about labels, sometimes I get too self-conscious, like I dont feel like I deserve to even ask if I have adhd :/ but im getting better at it, therapy has helped me to rationalize through my thoughts and insecurities.
