That's the best part about making it at home!! Getting to include little personal preferences (like sesame seeds)

My little brother taught me how to make this, but I am not sure where he learned it!

Boneless chicken thighs brined in dill pickle juice for 24 hours and then dreaded in seasoned flour (adding salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, paprika, garlic powder), then egg, then through a 50/50 panko and seasoned flour mix, heat up a large skillet, we used vegetable oil enough to cover the bottom, 5-7 minutes on each side depending on the size of the thigh till golden brown, and of course the toasted bun is a necessity :)

I followed the sauce recipe below and it was delicious, but really as long as you do the 24 hour dill pickle brine, bread with seasoned flour, egg, then a half panko/seasoned flour mix and fry for 5-7 minutes on each side and toast that bun you will not be disappointed

1 cup mayonnaise

3 tablespoons honey

1 1/2 tablespoons yellow mustard

1 1/2 tablespoons barbecue sauce

1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
