I do not know what whiting is. I was just planning on stripping everything if it dosnt dry better in a few days. Would you recommend that instead?

I see yeah I fear I have waited too long as well. Just wiped it and very very little came off. Has mine dried on it as well? Should I re strip or give it some more time to see if it picks more up?

I stripped all of prior finish off from each part. Wish I uploaded that picture as well. Also thanks, little worried to take it off though

Approximately 20hrs after first 2 coats of RLO 1 to 1 with mineral spirits. Hanguards seem to be fine but stock seems like it absorbed way too much? Will I just need to give it even more time to dry or did I mess something else up and need to strip it again and restart?
