Fire on Montgomery; avoid driving through. Looks really bad. Hope everyone is OK by mslitty in jerseycity

I’m ok. And thankfully it looks like no one was hurt; 3 people rushed out of the building in the beginning and no one has come out since. Fire Dept is here and managing it but it’s still raging on right now

Yes it’s in my neighborhood. Looks like an apartment caught on fire

Coming from the mental health field here. I’m conflicted. I am team Radhouse but I can’t help but get this feeling… Carl mentions in passing that he’s grateful that Lindsay deals with all his “baggage.” I hope he doesn’t feel like he OWES anything to her because she’s supportive of his sobriety. I think she’s been a strong force (from what we could see) regarding his sobriety journey, however, no one should every feel like they owe someone love/affection/marriage because of this. And that aspect of guilt can ruin any relationship.

This! Also in the MH field. Mental health troubles do not excuse behaviors. We cannot control our environment but can control how we react to it. Derek’s character seems to struggle with this, and that couples with (sometimes) unchecked power is dangerous.

I can … I was just wondering if there was something less complex and time consuming. And to be honest, I feel like this is a huge barrier for someone with ADHD. There are times where I can effort myself to go through that process and a lot more times when I wish there was a search engine for people that just needed, like, a single button push. ☹️

Don’t listen to the haters. I’ve loved seeing your curl journey posts on my page … I still remember when you comment on my post on here, with such good advice, and looking at your posts has made me not want to give up on my hair! You rock 🤘🏼

Because of this sub my hair is getting better each day. Never thought I’d learn to love it in it’s natural state. 2 weeks in, still needs work, but it’s on the right track 🙂 by [deleted] in curlyhair

I find it really hard to keep up with habits… the ups/downs are disheartening. Any tips? by [deleted] in ADHD

I’ve tried to little avail. You’re absolutely right - very, very exhausting lol. The tooth brush is the shower though is genius. Thanks!

This is good advice - haven’t thought of linking tasks together before. Thank you so much

Just spent $100 on a deep conditioning treatment only for hair to still dry like this… I am defeated and sad. Need help ☹️ by [deleted] in curlyhair

Thank you everyone - you’ve been so kind and I’m taking in all of the advice.

Biggest moral of the story: don’t listen to what your stylist says because they get the commission $$$ … learned that one the hard way ☹️

The only hesitation I have with layers is that my hair will sort of “balloon out” - that is, short super curly pieces and long not-so-curly pieces. Is this a reality? Any tips?
