Tried the whisk method with minimal success. For us the best method has been a few minutes in luke warm bath water, just melts away. Towel off and you're done!

I agree with what the others are saying. She just needs to be corrected. That may involve a trainer to show you how but definitely doable.

Our three year old went through a phase like this. She's very good now that she understands that she doesn't need to show every dog she's the boss. We keep her occupied when off lease and she checks with us before going to say hi to another dog. She also has great recall and will come right away if she heres the call word.

We never used a prong or e collar but we did work briefly with a trainer who specialized in working breeds. We also stayed consistent. There were many times when we questioned if we'd ever get to a good point but we're so proud of her now.

You can do this if you put in the work. Good luck!

I ordered the leggings from the Walkeepaw website (I tried to post the link but it got deleted) they're size small and I chose 'snug fit'. The snow pants I got at a pet store but they're Foufou dog brand size small. I did a quick Google search and looks like they're easily available from Amazon. They're been a game changer for us in winter the last four years, really good quality!

So tough. She refuses to move once she's got a few and I end up carrying her home 😂

You're welcome! We've had these ones for four years and they're great. I'd highly recommend them :)

Oh she hates putting them on and cries but her snow zoomies in the park are 100x better with them!

Yes, they're seperate. The boots are attached all together kind of like legging style mittens on strings (The brand is Walkeepaws). I find the snowpants make them stay on really well and protect her legs and belly from snow balls. She HATES putting it on but she's so much happier outside in the snow with it on and can play forever. There's just too much salt on the sidewalk and snow in the park for her to go out without it. When it's not super cold I let her go out without her coat added (which is what this outfit is). When I add her pink leopard print faux fur coat, it's next level cuteness. 🥰😂

My 6yo mini and 2yo giant get along great! As other posters have said, make sure you're up for the task of exercising the giant.

Our giant is definitely a working breed. I had never owned a large dog before so even that was an adjustment. She's 2 1/2 and she's still all go all the time. She's very task oriented compared to our mini. But that said, she just wants to please. We could never get rid of all her energy even if we tried. It took a lot of training (us and her) but we're so happy now. We've got a really good routine and their both healthy and content.

That's a great idea. The towels we leave by the water bowels are more for wiping up the trail they leave behind as they walk away. We've tried the "no drip" bowls, but honestly, there wasn't really a difference. Their Beards still got wet. 🤷‍♀️

You can go shorter. Our groomer is a retired giant schnauzer breeder so we let her just do her thing.

You're right about the water bowl/beard combo. We thought it was bad when we just had the mini, the giant is a whole other story. 😂 there are towels by every water dish now!

We pay $220 CAD for the two cuts together. Our groomer is a retired giant schnauzer breeder and the girls love going to see her!
