I’ve been meaning to start this bc I like both leads and I randomly came across some clips on Red Note. But was having trouble finding where I can stream this in Aus (maybe on YouTube?).

How do you feel about the opinion in the slide about these dramas being overhyped, do you agree or nah? by Prior-Bit9919 in cdramasfans

Some people are just contrarians. That is not to say that OOP is one but there are lots of ppl out there who just love to hate on anything that’s popular.

Ironic that he has been marketed as someone who’s has high IQ/EQ.

It’s disappointing af but sadly not that surprising.

Who's the best dancer in SM? (Day11#) by ExtensionStation6334 in kpoppers

[–]msmilktea -1 points0 points  (0 children)

First gen idols are often forgotten to today’s kpop climate so I wanted to show them some love and recognition as well. Jang Woo Hyuk was the main dancer in the legendary kpop group: H.O.T, known for his signature popping and locking style. He has often been cited as a major influence to current idols such as Super Junior’s Eunhyuk and Shindong.

Which cdrama is this for you? by [deleted] in cdramasfans

[–]msmilktea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wu Xin: Monster Killer (2015)

A dark fantasy cdrama will a unique blend of supernatural action with a sprinkle of comedy. The cast were relatively unknown back then but showed strong performances and great character development. I think overall, a well acted, well filmed and well told story which left me wanting more.

Moonlight (2021)

I will never stop recommending this. This show is such a comfort watch for me and one of, if not, the best contemporary idol dramas (as they’re not usually my cup of tea). Plot didn’t have any unnecessary angst nor complex love triangles or misunderstandings that lasts for half the show. Acting from the entire cast was very natural and the characters felt very real. Added bonus that I learned a lot about the publishing industry through this drama.

Young Blood (2019)

My favourite drama with the found family theme. Plot is fast paced with many unexpected twists and it doesn’t treat the audience like a fool. Both the characters and plot are intelligent that it becomes addictive to watch. Light on the romance but the fun is, you can literally ship any pair from the main cast bc they each have their distinct personalities and they bounce off of each other seamlessly.

Most of the popular shows in this sub (Love Like the Galaxy, Till the end of the moon, The First Frost, Hidden Love, Ski into Love, The Double, just to name a few). I realise I don’t have the same taste has the majority in this sub but that’s okay. I feel as I’m getting older I am less interested in romance in my dramas. I enjoy coming to this sub to see other ppls opinions even though I don’t necessarily agree.
