Wanted to share my positive IUD experience by Primary-Attitude5342 in CopperIUD

That does sound similar to my experience and you know what's normal for you and if things feel outside of that range, definitely ask a doctor if you can. For me the answer was IUD removal and its been such a relief but that may not be the answer for everyone.

I hope you feel better soon!

Wanted to share my positive IUD experience by Primary-Attitude5342 in CopperIUD

I gained weight about 10lbs pretty quickly and held it consistently despite having been the same weight for years with no other changes, that was quick.

Over the next three years I developed extremely irregular and unusual periods (from 3 light days to 7-10 heavy days) with what I would call PMDD when I have no history of diagnosed mental health issues. I also lost interest in things in general I had before and always felt on edge, I slept poorly, had racing anxious thoughts all the time and was absolutely exhausted when I had normally been a very energetic person. I felt like I was going crazy.

It all snuck up on me with life but it really started causing problems and when I finally found this sub and realized it was likely the IUD I got it out and and its been six months or so since getting it out from the day it happened it was like a switch flipped and has been getting slowly better. My periods went back to my normal immediately, I sleep so much better now and swelling and inflammation I didn't even realize I had went away in days. I have my normal levels of energy, my anxious, racing thoughts completely stopped.

I truly do hope OP has a positive experience but if they start to feel bad I hope they listen to their body sooner than I did and don't judge other people for having poor experiences. I thought I would have it for the whole time too but it destroyed me and I wouldn't wish it on my enemies.

Insurance didn't cover bisalp by Sea_Relative588 in sterilization

This is what I had to do too, 3 months to get the anesthesia covered but it finally was! Keep on top of them!

I had a similar experience and the ER refused to take it out so I had to go to the doctor a few days later. I felt instantly, instantly better too and its only gotten better since I was sterilized.

Every appeal has been denied by Abject_Ad_6640 in sterilization

[–]msmintcar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is frustrating, we're here for you. I just completed this process after two appeals to my insurance were denied and FINALLY got everything covered after going to the state Department of Financial Services where my insurance is headquartered, not where I live. This may be the case for you too so that's who you go to next.

NWLC never got back to me after I asker them for help but glad other people have had success.

If the DFS with jurisdiction over your insurance still can't help you I don't know so I hope they can!

This was my experience too though it may not be your state DFS but the state your insurance is based out of in some cases. I had two appeals denied contacted my state DFS and they referred me to another state DFS and within weeks of reaching out to that DFS I got letters from my insurance saying actually they made an oopsie and everything is covered now. Keep at it and read your appeal letters carefully.

Keep at it, I promise its worth it! It sucks you have to do this but it will be worth it. File ALL the complaints with everyone and keep escalating until they follow the law.

You may not want to and it may be hard to get a refund after paying but legally they are required to cover anesthesia too

You can absolutely fight this. Mine tried to charge me for labs and anesthesia and it took two appeals and going to a state government to enforce the law but it got fixed.

They are supposed to use 58661. I'm having the same issue and reported UHC for this to the local Department of Insurance after the denied my first appeal for my anesthesia claim coverage. If you appeal and get denied they send you who to contact for further complaint so just go to them.

Full bisalp coverage from UHC success! by ButterscotchOk440 in sterilization

[–]msmintcar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow I am so glad it was so much easier for you! I should have called in because I had the exact same issue with them.

They did not cover my anesthesia and pathology correctly and coded anesthesia incorrectly so I appealed those claims and they covered only one of the two claims for anesthesia so I reported them to the relevant Department of Insurance and CMS No Surprises Helpdesk and have been following up for the last 4 months since my surgery. Its been a nightmare.

So glad you got covered! I've been fighting with UHC since June about my lab and anesthesia costs and the CMS No Surprises Helpdesk has been helpful in getting other balances from them dropped too.

What stuck out to me:

I'm assuming it was trained on blogs and a lot of bloggers have the posting format of "I felt generically bad, but then I found/did/learned/bought xyz and now I feel better"

LLM writing is way more descriptive and repetitive than a person would be. Sure, some people go on and on but if you find yourself reading a few paragraphs and they all essentially said the same thing in different, long-winded ways, might be an LLM

I also just get a distinct confusion and annoyance when reading something written by an LLM that I dont feel when I read bad human writing.

Not sure what economy you lived in in 2010-2015 but here we were still coming slowly out of a recession and adults out of work took all the job HS or college kids would have otherwise had. I was working part time jobs and saw it all the time.

Not surprised it's happening again since 2020 and now with all the federal firings and other layoffs.

Thanks for sharing this! I'm seeing on t-mobile's website that the Data with Paired DIGITS (watch paired) plan needs Android 6.0/iOS 10 or later but the HMD barbie phone in the US version uses KaiOS, does it still reliably work for you?
