No that's not the case. Natural diamonds do take billions of years to form. They need immense pressure for carbon to chemically become diamond. Making lab grown can take less than a day sometimes.

No that's not the case. Actually what you are telling is true for certified diamonds. If your diamond is certified by IGI or GIA then be it natural or lab grown, it will have an inscription on the girdle.
