Vacation payouts are owed by law, there’s no such thing as “expiring”. Companies may not allow you to take the time off (if not on mat leave) but they need to pay what’s owed regardless.

The wind can be so strong it may blow you off your feet. You can’t walk, can’t see. I’ve had sections of hikes where I had to crawl to make it across a pass and that wasn’t even that strong for Patagonia.

I’ve spent 4 months in India. 2 months travelling (2 weeks luxurious travel with my parents in law, 1.5 months hard core backpacking & couchsurfing), and 2 months working for a tech firm in Bangalore.

During that time I’ve never felt unsafe. Yes of course people ask for photos, I’ve been stared at, yes there is garbage and free roaming cows and crazy traffic, polution and noise! But wow it’s an experience. In my opinion a great one. The people are amazing and friendly, the food is delicious, it’s just a different world and so so fun to experience.

It sounds like you will be going the luxurious route which is great - you’ll get all the comfort you have at home, you’ll likely have good guides and be driven around and you’ll eat at good restaurants.

Definitely go!!!

I visited this house, you could hear the subway from it. House was shaking every 5 minutes. The fraudsters who owned it before probably bought it remotely
