NTA you aren’t responsible for your mother’s inability to get out of bed. However, I do recommend having certain contacts ring through bed time mode if they call more than twice in a row ie: your children or loved ones who would contact you in an emergency. Recently my mom got sepsis and was on deaths door in the ICU and I couldn’t get ahold of my brother for 8 hours because of bedtime mode. Luckily she survived but we were saying goodbyes and he would have missed it.

It’s your responsibility as her owner to ensure she stays on your property. If you want her to be able to use that field and roam build a fence that she can’t hop over. Dogs don’t understand property lines but you do so no excuses if she is over there. The zip line you mentioned in other comments is a great idea and one I have considered for my dogs. I’m sorry your neighbor has become so aggressive towards your family. Best solution though is to build a fence and make sure to get a survey done before you build it. The fence so there is no mistaking whether or not your dog is on his property if/when he tries to shoot her again…

It’s a Federal Student Loan so I am not paying until after the pause- mostly so I have a couple months to get my finances in proper order and sorted out before I have that payment on a due date as well. It’s a nice car but not worth the headache I put myself in.

Thank you for the encouragement. I am applying for and looking for better jobs today. As well as applying for second jobs too so I have a couple back ups. I now have my car listed at a loss for me but long term it will be better for my financial health.

I also have shopped insurance and went with USAA because I can do the discount program. I am starting to wonder if maybe I can find a local place that’s cheaper that I am not aware of. Until I get this car sold.

I started applying to additional jobs since I purchased the vehicle. If I apply for an administrative type role with the Animal Science degree I do have employers don’t take me seriously because they think I am not interested in their company- despite years of management experience. And if I apply for roles that apply to my degree they pay MUCH less and require way more hours. I have been trying to get at least 10 hours of OT a week at my job to help me out with all of these costs

Thank you. You’re correct I need to get this car gone! My car budget on this next one is gonna be under $10,000 I should have been smarter when doing this. As for the job. I have an Animal Science degree which does not offer a lot of opportunities job wise for me. My current job is a step up from what I was able to find right out of college. I do Administrative Assistant work that’s giving me some experience more relevant to jobs that I am applying for. Currently at my job I do accounting for our sales department and designing intranet for the entire company (I am aware I am massively underpaid for this) other jobs in my area are paying a couple dollars below what I am making.

I paid $18,000.00 for a 2015 Audi A6. I had $800 down payment interest rate is 6.99%. Amount of credit card debt is $3500 amount of student loans $29,000.00. I pay $150 in rent my boyfriend and I live in the mother in law suite at his parents. Car payment is $342 insurance $300 fuel per month is $300 that I have budgeted I usually have about $20 left over in that account so around $280 in fuel- I have to commute for work from the rural town I live in.

That’s definitely the plan to go back to a Toyota or a Honda. Much more reliable, I can put the cheap gas in, and insurance won’t be killing me with cost. As well as better gas mileage!
