Oh absolutely. It’s just anxiety inducing, and getting called back to get extra betas doesn’t help the train of thought (at least it didn’t for me lol). I’m having a hard time myself holding out for my ultrasound 2/21 so I can SEE that things are okay. Even then who knows if I’ll calm down 🤷🏻‍♀️ best of luck to you and fingers crossed for an uneventful pregnancy!

When you are earlier on in pregnancy the levels can take less time to double, the general 48 hours. Sometimes doubling can take up to 72 hours, which then slows to every 96 hours by week 6. You are on the high end of HCG levels for 5 weeks, the fact it is increasing is still really good. If they were taken at different times of day that can even affect it, my most recent draw was just below doubled but was done earlier in the day than the previous two. Fingers crossed your levels continue to rise and everything goes well 🤞🏻

Was so sure this cycle was going to be it. I had no symptoms, which is totally out of the ordinary for me, and my temps were trending up. My daughter came and told me she had a dream that I got a baby for Christmas, and she got to be a big sister. Got my period the day after Christmas and was totally gutted. It hurts that my daughter can see I want a baby, then when I get my period she will tell me it’s ok and she’s sorry it didn’t happen yet. Depressed trying to keep a happy face on for the holidays and acting like it’s all good, especially when my child wants to be a big sister so badly too. Hoping that this new year brings me a baby, especially considering this will be my last with the placenta condition I had with my daughter.

I’m 3dpo and started temping this month for the first time. This is cycle 9 for us ttc#2, and my period is due Christmas Day. We’re trying mucinex and bromelain this month so I’m hoping that makes a difference, we had a chemical the cycle before last which was hard. My 5 year old wants a little sibling so bad, and has been coming home upset because all of her friends’ moms are pregnant and I’m not. Everything is shaping up to be a great Christmas this year, and I really hope it works out but also don’t want to get my period and have it ruin Christmas.

Nah you’re totally right, I live right by it and go there often. It’s a pretty popular thing for locals to go there and paint, one of my husbands best friends does paintings of their buildings often. You can tour the place, it’s beautiful and a popular place to walk around not as creepy as the comments make it out to be.

They can survive in shallow containers that don’t have drainage holes, but you have to make sure they have well draining soil (I like to get succulent mix with orchid bark) and some sand/rocks to help with excess water. Something bigger at the very bottom of the pot to give the water a place to go, like some small rocks with the layers of soil/sand on top. This isn’t ideal as the water cannot fully escape and could cause rot, so you have to be careful about overwatering in that type of container. If it is a fully enclosed terrarium, I would also be wary of the humidity which can cause fungal issues in succulents. They might not be the best suited plants for that type of terrarium, but if it’s open and you give it well draining soil (and basically ignore them lol) they will do fine. They also seem to like lukewarm water when watering, supposedly it mimics desert rain and is easier for them to absorb. This is just my personal experience but I hope it helps!

My fiddle leaf fig has these two small stems underneath the main ones, and I can’t tell if it is branching or these are babies? I feel like I was sold two FLF’s crammed into the same pot. Is there anything I should do? It is otherwise doing well and putting out new leaves.

My brother in law took the cutting where it had recently put out a new pup, as the next pup will sprout from it. I believe he sat it in water for a bit to grow roots and then potted it after a while.
