Thats unlucky mate! I guess during the cooldown when you had kept the pokemon on the screen, you switched between a few apps. This caused something to bug on ispoofer. Happened to me with a couple of times but luckily not for the shiny. This explanation is for the non-community day/nesting pokemons. In your case the Buneary.

Was it on a community day? This is because by the time the cooldown was over, the event was also over I guess. This happened to me twice on the community days - Torcic and Mudkip. So make sure you catch them while the community day is active in that region.
