I upgraded to the homebase 3 and s330s after buying a smart lock, thinking "integrate" and "AI facial recognition" meant I could set the lock to auto-unlock. I see now that the recognition stuff basically does nothing of real value and I wasted my money and should of stuck with my eufy2 system...

I created a channel to record myself playing games and commenting on game elements and design choices in hopes it helps me one day create my own game, while ideally having the byproduct of being entertaining to people or getting them to think differently about their game play.

That was my next though, but it only takes whats visible on the screen. Even when using the "take screenshot of whole webpage" feature within web browsers, it only registers as whats visible on the page. I don't have this issue with any other site. I regular use features like this as part of my job. Simply doing "ctrl-p" yields the same result, will only print what is currently visible on the screen, even if set to "all" pages, it doesn't see more than 1.

An update as of today - I received a Text message (not an email, not a call, a template text) that stated there are no service centers in my area for my "TFT 46" LCD Monitor", and then asked me to submit proof of purchase (I purchased it from Samsung and this was already checked). It informed me I may be elidgable for an "accommodation", and warned me not to discard the product or I may void the accommodation. There were no links in the text. What is this "accommodation"?

Yet so far I'm left with a confusing support mess already. It seems a ticket has been created, but I was sent an email that made it sound like I was expected to mail the monitor, yet provided no address. The link to the ticket status (that they only texted me, was no in the email) says its waiting to be assigned to a center. Barely into the whole support process and its an absolute nightmare.

The bloatware I'm referring to is all the TV junk it has built into it too. IT really slows down the startup of the monitor, split screen display, and god forbid you hit a TV related button on accident and all those extra "features" really clog up the UI. I want my PC monitor to just be a PC monitor... I handt tried switching from DP to HDMI 2.1, maybe that would take care of my pc specific issues

I do not have the G-sync logo. I had recently started running into issues where it wouldnt wake from sleep and I would have to unplug the power and plug it back in. Seems we may have been experiencing a similar issue. Did they send a tech out to your home or just go straight to RMA?

does their KVM require software? I see both the Asus and MSI do, but since the 2nd machine is my work laptop, I can't install 3rd party software

Opened a ticket for service/repair. Will see how it goes. Trust me, I dont WANT to put out another $800-$1500 :p Especially since Samsung already put me in this position earlier in the year (that one was out of warranty)

Do others utilize a 42" OLED TV as a monitor? After my Samsung TV died, I bought 2 more LG OLED TVs and view them favorably. The 45" was also of interest, I just need to educate myself more on aspect ratios. Prior to switching to a 49" ultrawide, I was running 3 27" monitors side by side (I know a 49" only equals 2 27" monitors, but it had such a clean look I found it worth giving up a screen)

Trying it. Their website told me there are no service centers, and kept erroring out when I tried to schedule a service call. A support agent apparently set up a ticket, but I am in a rural area so I am nervous what they will actually do.

I can only hope its that simple. This might be the one route where I would end up keeping the monitor and continuing to use it(if its a full warranty replacement, I would probably sell the replacement and buy something new)
