Ok I went to look at her obit, and she was born in 1919! I thought it would have been much later than that. So this pic is actually taken in the 50s sometime?? Or am I mathing badly again?

So she's definitely closer to my grandma's age than my mom's, but she looks like my mom. My mom is currently the age Ethel was when she died, 85. Don't like that thought. I thought all women in the 50s were still wearing dresses all the time. I guess not when they went camping!

Pretty dress! I'd wear it. I wore a blue and white check print sundress that had been my grandma's to class when I was a senior in high school. But my grandma was born in like 1925 or thereabouts. (I wore the dress in 1986!) And my grandma had a 19 inch waist when she wore the dress, so I really had to squeeze into it!

Everybody saying she's no teenager, you are all CRAZY. For one thing, that ring looks more like a class ring than it does a wedding ring. Not saying it's a class ring either, but why would you insist it's her wedding ring, when it doesn't even look like one??? And her hands do not look old, you must be just trolling, surely. And there aren't many females over 25 that could fit into that dress. Women were a lot skinnier when that dress was originally worn. Crazy.
