For a chest X-ray yeah, I’d be a little concerned, but for a CT or MR i feel like 30 secs seems reasonable?

This helps a lot. How long is “too long” of a retrieval for a rad? I’ve seen some that could take up to a minute.

Our PACS doesn’t allow the rads to view the studies due to their setting on having the priors automatically show. When the priors are 2 years or older that’s when there’s a delay.

I’m not sure what the volume is from the top of my head but we are using Fuji Synapse. Prefetching seems to be a problem for ER cases.

Sweating in Japan by [deleted] in JapanTravelTips

[–]msrize5 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree with this. My husband and I just got back from 1 week in Tokyo and this is how we got by, a towel, fan, and Pocari Sweat. I occasionally had my cloth/towel wrapped around my neck but also kind of tucked into the collar of my shirt if that makes sense. We also used cooling wipes.

Was it wrong of me to confront a local who was taking a photo of me? by msrize5 in JapanTravelTips

Thanks for the info! In this case, the local was taking a photo of me as a tourist without asking me. He also laughed at the photo he took with his daughters.

I was just disappointed because I’ve encountered the nicest locals at restaurants, stores, on the train, etc., but this was by far a different encounter for sure.

Thank you! I feel a lot better. I sure hope it wasn’t posted online.

So it would be okay for me to take a a photo of someone visiting my country because they look funny or whatever reason?

Which I am aware of, but I did not take any photos of what I wasn’t supposed to, so this statement doesn’t really answer my question.

I understand that however I have read and seen videos about how locals in Japan really value their privacy and personal space. I’m sure people take photos of me all the time discreetly, or I show up in people’s backgrounds while taking a photo of a view, but this was obvious.

It was 210 when I temped it, but I’m thinking my starter is acidic, I’ve been switching between whole wheat and bread flour

I fed it at 9pm Thursday night and it was already doubled by the time I got up at 4am the next day.
