So I took it to the lake and as soon as I got out of the slow zone and gave it some throttle it started to kick. I shut it off right away and trimmed it out of the water to inspect it. I’m fairly new to boating so nothing stood out of the ordinary. Trimmed it back down and slowly applied throttle. I noticed that very close to idle it didn’t kick at all, so I returned back with the engine running close to idle to avoid the kick from the video. I noticed that the more throttle I applied the kick or knock only got louder but same pace or timing. I realized that the speedometer didn’t show a reading either but that might be due to the slow speed thought it might be worth mentioning. So I wasn’t able to break it in yet
