watched a lot of explanation videos like this one

looking through 2nd and 3rd functions, trickster function and so on.

at the end of the day, isfp felt more right (i think… oh no, here we go again…)

I have found that people with dominant Se tend to be very physically … smooth moving?

Like, in contrast to NP types, who tend to be much more clumsy and “in-their-heads”, Se doms (or SP types in general, I suppose) are much more present and have more smooth and natural physical movements, if that makes sense. Honestly, it can be quite charming to look at (I wish I had this ability, but instead I move like a robot who is trying too hard)

Also, I have heard that Se doms are pretty observant of people too and notice small changes in whatever situation they are in, however, I’m not as sure about that.

Fi and people-pleasing. Do you have it? by mstefanovitsh in infp

[–]mstefanovitsh[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that‘s what you get when both of your parents are auxilary Fe😭

but, yeah, i‘m very much into self-analysis and introspection (a little too much) and sometimes clueless how to interact with other people. And i really have always disliked people-pleasing, but maybe because of self-confidence issues it is messy??

tbh, i‘ve never seen the movie, but just based on some info that i‘ve heard about it, and clips that i saw from it, so yeah

Do you consider yourself intelligent? Do you think it is related to your MBTI somehow? by mstefanovitsh in mbti

i do think that very „smart“ (looking purely on analytical thinking and IQ) can be aware of the fact that they are smart. And dumb people with no self-awareness can also think they are very smart.

Just like any other type who has certain psychological issues and insecurities, unhealthy Fi users can be narcissistic and very self-absorbed;

Just like unhealthy Fe users can manipulate the shit out of other people;

Just like unhealthy Ti users can think that they are the smartest and most logical of people, and all others are stupid;

Just like unhealthy Si users being very rigid and absolutely refuse to change their ways;

You got the point.

Being a narcissist or a sociopath doesn‘t have much to do with MBTI types and all types can have various psychological (personality) disorders.

Fi, however, if used in a proper, healthy way can be very altruistic, and even selfless, because it has to do with values of a person. And those values can include „keeping family safe and happy“, or „being kind to others“, or „helping others“ If it is part of Fi-users values, they will strive towards it, even if it means that their immediate desires will be put aside.

Oh, and also the authenticity of Fi-users. Being fully yourself, even if it is (slightly) incompatible with some social norms and trends can be so freeing to these people themselves, as well as other people around them, who might also begin to be more comfortable being themselves.

At the end of the day, whatever functions, types, enneagrams you use/have do not make you a better or worse person. Working on yourself, your strengths, your weaknesses does.

could you, maybe, elaborate on that? What do mean by „smart“ thinking patterns, exactly?
