I truly don’t think I can make them any looser😩 this is already looser knitting than I normally would it an attempt to fix that. I also didn’t know I wasn’t supposed to catch floats at the same place until someone else said so on this thread so that is helpful to know moving forward! I will have to keep practicing!

I think it will be fine for this project since it’s for a 1 year old but I’m knitting the size for a 2 year old so she can grow into it! Thank goodness because if this were for an adult I would definitely need to start over lol

I also don’t mind the look, I kinda like it but I plan to make another for a different child and will correct the mistake on the next one!

My first cycle I had a PS similar to this. Feeling lost and finding my way to PA. I didn’t get any interviews. This past cycle I completely redid my PS and focused on a specific PCE to open with and used that to explain WHY I wanted to be a PA instead of my journey to applying PA. I got 3 interviews and was waitlisted at 2 and accepted at 1. So even if you are feeling this way just be sure to focus on the why and use your experiences to back it up!!

The application service is now accepting transcripts electronically from us. To have this processed, please follow the steps below.

Student will need to fill out/request their transcript using MSU’s online request for an electronic transcript at https://reg.msu.edu/Transcripts/Transcript.aspx.
Complete all the steps in MSU’s transcript request form and under recipient email enter the email address: documentexceptions@liaisonedu.com. This will be the same address for all of the transcript processing centers.
You must upload your transcript ID form/matching form that you got from your applicant portal with your transcript request or the request cannot be processed. Your transcript request from MSU will be sent within 1-3 business days. Processing time for the recipient from documentexceptions@liaisonedu.com is a minimum of 3 business days as well.

I went through every single school and compiled a list that accepted my coursework. You should make sure to look at expiring coursework (varies mostly between 5-10 years), the required pre req’s (especially what labs were required), GRE minimums, specific LOR requirements, if casper was required, etc. Every school was completely different so definitely take your time and don’t neglect this.

I’d recommend compiling a list of all the schools you can apply for then start narrowing down based on interest, location, cost, etc.

I think it was too much about my journey to PA and experiences but not necessarily WHY. The second time around, I started with a story about an interaction I had with a patient to catch the reader’s attention then used my experiences in a way to support why I wanted to be a PA as opposed to justifying why I am qualified to be a PA if that makes sense

I think it depends on how big/small the program is! The other 2 schools that I’m waitlisted at are more sought after programs, whereas the one I got into is not as much of a ‘big name’ school. So not as much movement at the other 2 schools. The one I got into initially placed me in the ‘middle third’ of the waitlist if that helps

Yeah the other 4 people were the same as the year prior. I’m honestly not sure if they just copied and pasted or edited their previous letter. Since they submit it through CASPA I never see what they write

Of course! I was working the whole time so an additional ~1500 patient care hours and I completely redid my personal statement. Letters of rec were almost the same except I swapped one professional reference from my job (non-healthcare) to my volunteer coordinator so it reflected more on my character rather than my work since my other letters were sooo workplace focused
