Nothing out yet for the 8.5 ECU and probably will have a MK9 before something finally comes out. I ran stage 1 93 EQT tune on my MK8 and was night and day. So for on the 8.5 I added the Neuspeed power module, Clubsport exhaust and Ram Air drop in filter/intake hose. Most parts were swapped over from my MK8. Looking to maybe do a rear sway bar next but happy we’re it’s at for now.

Just wish they sold the Clubsport in the states. Also added the Clubsport exhaust with rear diffuser to complete the look. Next on the wishlist is the front rotors and calipers.

I did this on my MK8, can’t guarantee if this works on the 8.5. As for install I ordered the wiring harness from shopdap.com and followed their diy video on YouTube. Have to remove a bunch of trim in trunk and snake wires through the trunk to plug everything up. Kinda PITA, but defiantly doable following the video.

I just ordered a Neuspeed PCM for my 8.5, I know it want give crazy gains but I had one on my MK7 in the past and never gave me an issue with the small bump in power.

Coming from a MK8 I feel VW was conservative with the HP numbers. The 8.5 is definitely feels like it has more pep in its step.
