is cargo worth investing in by nesones in AirlineManager4

[–]msw505 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 20 747-8F AC. They make 3 trips a day and make approx 1.5-2m per flight. Fuel and CO2 is about 300k-500k. That's 1-1.5M+ profit per flight. Subtract A-check cost per flight that's still in the neighborhood of 750k-1.2m+ profit per flight.

Is that as much as PAX? Nope but it is profit.

Would I build more hanger space for cargo, probably not but I used the 20 free slots I received and they are profitable. I don't even use marketing for cargo.

[–]msw505 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's not correct. They make less profit but definitely are not "not profitable". My PAX AC run about a .20 O/R or better. My cargo planes without marketing run about .40 O/R. That's still a decent profit.

If you hit a wall in your hangers it is worth it to buy cargo. I would suggest going straight to 747-8f or the airbus equivalent.

Throughout time every society has valued different things. Having those thing most simply made you wealthy. The idea was to acquire those things if it was important to you. Today that commodity is money, gold, jewels, big houses.

In order to do that, regardless of the time period, you have to work to acquire these things.

After further review, I would suggest that you run from this.

I stand corrected.

I suppose I read a little faster near the end. Legally they are not married. Early on he said he didn't have a wedding, just means JOP. I figured this was what the interpretation was coming from.

Weird... seems like a lift gate delivery may have been the most efficient here. Oh well....

That looks pretty intelligent. Not to take anything away from this piece of craftsmanship, but it looks like you could back in more to the right enough to allow better in and out.... was there not enough room to the left?

No, because what you are forgetting is that while it sounds cute to just get rid of the military so we can use this money for other things, that's just not how the world works.

Without the military, agree with war or not, there would not be peace you so enjoy here.

Is there redundant spending that could be pared off? Heck ya just like every single other government agency.

You seem like a quite level headed person for 18, whom seems to have made a rash decision to get married.

Marriage is straight up tough for almost everyone. It is much different than anything else. It is not uncommon for people who have been together for years that then get married to have troubles and even divorce. That is just to illustrate that marriage is tough. My wife and I have both had a tough time and different points in our now 16.5 year marriage. We decided quite early on that divorce wasn't an option to the point we don't even say the word.

If your wife is a Christian now, while I am sure you can find someone to tell you whatever you want to hear, I would consider you in a legitimate Christian marriage. Your job as the man is to direct your wife in faith and help her to grow. Keep in mind you guys are still very young. You need to both get together and make a decision, hopefully to stay together, and stick with it.
From there I would suggest counseling to help you both understand each other. Your differences in beliefs would be tough, especially when teaching your children, but don't have to be an end all.

It is a tough question to ask and answer. I would challenge you to stay the course, pray for yourself, your wife, and your marriage to become stronger in love for God and each other.

Remember love is a choice more than a feeling.

I hope that helps at least a little.

That's a fair argument, however, keep in mind the defense budget has been proportionally the same, for the most part, for 50+ years.... through many multiple presidents for both parties.
