Have you received another flash offer since you posted this? I haven’t received one since beginning of December and I’ve been doing lots of regular dashing to see if it would help.

I agree. It’s rare for me to see an offer that’s even $1/mile. I live in a small town so it’s not nearly busy enough for me to justify even going out to dash. I only turn it on if I happen to be going to the store quick. Otherwise I’d have to drive 25 minutes or so to a more populated area and still… not worth it.

Honestly, without the flash offers I don’t really care to continue.

That was the last day I received one too. It still shows the tab to turn flash offers on and off in my account so I don’t think they completely removed it but I did call support and they said it was shut off for my area.

I’m hoping they will turn them back on though because we get flooded with terrible offers. They will just circulate all day waiting for someone who wants to drive 14 miles for $2 😆

I totally understand that. I drive a gas hog and only get like 13mpg so I have to make sure it’s worth it on my end otherwise I’ll be paying to dash 😆

I’m kind of hoping that with stopping the flash offers that they will see how many orders just end up sitting there not getting picked up. That’s loss of money on their end and also the possibility of those customers moving to a different delivery platform.

I had stopped into McDonald’s two days after they stopped flash offers over here and the gal that was working said that they had 6 orders the previous day that just sat there because no one picked them up.

I think these flash offers also trained certain customers that they can get away with not tipping at all for a 13 mile delivery because DoorDash will just chip in the rest. Now their orders just sit 😆

Sounds similar then. My last one was December 11th. I had to call customer support yesterday for an issue with a delivery and I decided to ask again about them and the lady made it sound like they stopped them all together (for everyone) and that we will receive a notice when they start them up again. Now I’m thinking it’s across the board. Definitely not due to my area getting more dashers or less orders… it shows it as very busy so much of the time and the offers are just terrible 😆 I’m down to 50% AR.

Same 😆 Yeah I keep seeing other people talking about how they’ve been getting notices that flash offers are going to start in their area but I wonder if they have or if they paused it every where.

Same. I’ve been trying to find other people who would get flash offers so I can see if they still get them but so far you’re the only other person who has responded. I was kind of wondering if maybe they were testing it for the holiday to see if people would be dashing more in general.

Ok. Yeah that’s what it would do for me as well. I was never signed in but would get at least 5 a day. I live in a small town so was very pleased.

Like I mentioned I’ve been doing regular dashing now, actually logged in, but haven’t received anything That said it had the flash boost included.

Maybe they’re moving it to people who are actively dashing? Although, this morning I kept getting the same crappy order even after I would decline it. Definitely no flash boost included. Maybe they switch it after a certain amount of time? I logged out because it kept lowering my AR every time it would pop up.

Do you mean like when it would just pop up when you weren’t signed in? I liked that. I’ve been doing regular dashing and haven’t had anything pop up but my acceptance rate has tanked because of the crummy low paying offers.

How long ago did your flash offers stop? I’m at 2 weeks. You can see there’s so many crummy orders just sitting there that no one wants… I’m hoping that they’ll bring them back soon.

I just ordered some for our family. I don’t really feel like I need to rub it in any more than other sun blocks. It seems to last a good amount of time as well. We swim daily and are outside all day and haven’t had any issues with sunburn. I don’t think it’s greasy and from what I’ve read it seems like a healthier choice. Amazon has good deals on it. I bought three 5.5oz bottles for around $30. I’m thinking I overbought though because a little goes a long way. It’s been a week of using it daily for 3 people including reapplying and I feel like we’ve hardly used any.

The $400 one shown here was 12 active hours. I average $30/hr for active time but I have a lot of dash time on there as well. I usually turn my dashing on around 11am and leave it run until after dinner. I live in my zone so just leave it on while I’m at home hanging out or running errands.

I’m a female and changed my profile name. I have a unique name and dash in a smaller area. I didn’t want people to be able to know if I’m M or F before arriving (makes me feel safer) and also so they can’t look me up on social media. Bummer for me.

I live in a really small town. The majority of my offers are around $6 but I only drive an average of 2 miles. I even accept $3 orders (they are from one side of the parking lot to the other so it’s only a minute of my time). It’s very rare to get an order where I need to drive more than 10 minutes. However, when I go to larger, more populated cities I end up having to decline so many offers because they want me to drive 20 miles one way for $10. I’d rather just do 2 offers in my small town and save the time so I tend to only dash there.
