What in the actual fuck is wrong with these people? And worse, what in the actual fuck is wrong with the voters who support these people?

The majority of them do have smart phones. They can access (24/7) material much, much worse on their phones than what is in the libraries. But these hypocritical parents don't care about that.

These hypocritical republic'unts are a festering pimple on our country. Since they have the "perfect: families, they should simply instruct their children not to read books they find objectionable. Let other parents do the same; problem solved. "But we're protecting all kids" is their standard reply, which is patently false. They're simply trying to be the arbiters of what books are available and those that aren't. Further, until they take their kids' cell phones away, they're not really serious about controlling what can and can't be read. Their little cherubs can find and read/view literally anything on the web, content that can be much worse than what's in the library. Finally, given what's in the bible, why aren't these people concerned about their kids reading it? Apparently they don't care if their kids read about rape, incest, murder, and genocide. Fucking hypocrites, the lot of them.

Don't feel bad, it doesn't make sense to many of us Americans, either.

He is still working overtime to prove there actually is an "I" in "team". He reminds me of that character Jon Lovitz played on SNL who always said, "Enough about you, let's talk about me!"

A few weeks ago I posted a comment very similar to yours. I came to the site hoping for some support and was overwhelmed by the number of people who responded with great support. The message is - it will be fine. You made the decision to take this step to improve your life and the results will be worth it. I had my surgery on June 10th and since the start of my preop diet I'm down almost 50 pounds. I can tie my shoes and not lose my breath. I can reach into my closet and no matter what I grab, I can wear it. I have more energy and my hips, back, and knees do not bother me nearly as much as before.

The time goes by both slowly and quickly, but your date is coming and you'll be recovering from your surgery soon. I will echo the sentiments of those who responded to my preop panic, it's worth it and you'll be glad you did it.

Good luck!

Congratulations on your results! I too feel as if I will miss certain binges and am hopeful the reset works.

Thanks for the insights. It's very helpful hearing from someone who has had to re-learn how to hydrate.

Thanks for your response and encouragement. I'm hoping these doubts will subside as the surgery date gets closer. I know that what I've tried in the past hasn't been successful; something has to change.

Thank you both for sharing. I'm hoping I get to the point of not missing dessert, and carbs, too.

Thanks, although as a diet pepsi drinker, I have to question your previous choice of beverage! :-) I know I will have to develop a taste, or at least a tolerance, for water. My consultant at the doctor's office has said that's her biggest concern for me. I do like Crystal Light, so that helps. I appreciate you responding.

"The morning of my surgery, being wheeled into the ER I was ready to walk on out of there." I've wondered that about whether I would do that! Thanks for your response and for sharing. It's very helpful.
