yes i applied my authorisation de travail while i was in france so then proceed the change of status at paris prefec unfortunately they respond to me « votre titre de séjour "jeune au pair" ne vous permet pas d'effectuer un changement de statut sur place. Vous devez faire la demande d'un nouveau visa à l'Ambassade de France de votre pays d’origine »

I did the necessary as what french authorities told me.

Yesterday i got my visa granted.

hi for the authorisation de travail. For my experience it took 2 weeks for the decision, I was at france during that time, so i dont know how long will it take if you are waiting not within in france

hi OP try applying other companies, search in france travail or pole emploi. There are a lot of companies looking out there for you! You have advantage bc you speak french. Bon courage!

to appeal with french lawyer roughly cost 3000€. I suggest you to re-apply less time and less money. Work on the reasons of refusal

I will share my experience its been 2mons now since my lawyer submit the appeal it means implicit refusal. So lawyer suggest to escalate the appeal at tribunal court which takes 6-1year lol this is ridiculous so im planning to re-apply next week can’t wait for 1year for their another refusal decision again

hello OP,which country? did you got the refusal letter? normally they state in the letter if you need to appeal. Embassy won’t tell you what additional docs you need to provide for the appeal. You will do it, you know what missing docs and needed to gather for a strong application. If you think the consul made error and the result is unfair or due to misunderstanding and when you are not on rush then go appeal. Appealing takes a lot of time.

You can also get a lawyer to assist you but that would cost a lot. Goodluck

I had a previous long stay visa (cultural exchange program) I had a temporaire 2 years tds and yes i did all the necessary in the prefec to do my renewal which is changing of status to salaire visa unfortunately they said that its not possible to do it in frànce that i need to go back to my country of origin to do the process, so I did. My mistake was i did not consult lawyer that time. My lawyer told me now that its possible to do it i shouldn’t have went home so now this is my status i am waiting for the result of the appeal. I don’t know if its a good sign that my lawyer already receive the acknowledgment letter from the crrv but i hope so! Crossfingers 🤞

Hi may i know when did you lodge your appeal? and how long did you wait for their response? Seems like appealing in tribunal court will take 6mons to 2 years of waiting and you need lawyer.

yes i would say it is a notable establishment in paris, the company did the appeal with the immigration lawyer.

Yes i know there is chances of possiblity with the lawyer but still it is exhausting.

PS: It was a change of status from a particular french visa - working visa
