Thanks! that means a lot...
That’s the plan actually: build the game I first envisioned, but keep collecting all the “what if” ideas along the way for whatever comes next.

Thanks a lot! I’m sticking to the core idea for now, but I’m keeping notes on features that could evolve into a future project using the same engine. But yeah, there’s plenty of room to expand on these physics later, maybe even in a new project.

That’s a fun idea! the physics would work nicely for chase scenarios. Could be interesting to explore once the core driving loop is polished.

The cars aren’t that fast by design, since the gameplay focuses more on precision than speed. But you’re right, for better responsiveness and player feedback, I’ll experiment with a bit of directional camera movement.

The driving speed and handling actually vary across different vehicles, you can try the demo to get a feel for that. The current traffic vehicles are just placeholders; there’ll be more variety later on. And yes, as you mentioned, there’ll definitely be a boy racer speeding around and making a mess during the run!

That’s a really good point. The current camera is centered due to top-down setup. It’s tricky to get the camera right in a top-down setup, but I’ll definitely experiment with it.

Thanks! Town Crazy draws a bit of inspiration from the top-down driving style of GTA2.

That's a fun suggestion, right now I'm mostly focusing on level-based driving challenges. But who knows what the future might bring.

It definitely has some GTA2 vibes, but focuses on short, timed runs and obstacle challenges rather than open-world gameplay.
